THE HENRY NEHRLING (1853-1929) COLLECTION
The Henry Nehrling (1853-1929) Collection contains personal papers, manuscripts, photographs, memorabilia, periodicals, and pamphlets from his personal library that document Nehrling's life and work as a naturalist, scientist and pioneer in Florida. The collection also includes Nehrling's correspondence with internationally famous botanists, plant collectors and horticulturists of his time, such as Theodore L. Mead (1852-1936).
